"San Gabriel Valley Monthly," July-August 1928 (Vol. 1, No. 3), published by George Hillenbrand, Monterey Park. The magazine, a booster publication for the valley, has three features: one on the broader valley, a second on San Gabriel Canyon, and a third on "residential advantages" in the valley. Reports from twenty-two chambers of commerce throughout the valley and into the Inland Empire cities of Pomona, Chino and Ontario are presented. There are photo illustrations and many local advertisements, as well. With edge tears, a missing corner, soiling, a vertical half fold, small stains and creases, the overall condition is fair.Lexicon
