A label for San Gabriel Wine Co. sherry, ca. 1880s. The name of the company and its location are in arched block letters at the top. At the center is the word "SHERRY." Below the latter is a star surrounded by a vine-and-grapes bordered circle. Flanking this are the words "TRADE MARK." Within a ribbon at the bottom of the design is "IN VINO VERITAS." At the bottom of the label are the name and address of the manufacturer, E. F. Hynes. All of the printing is in black ink. The object has light soiling, some stains, and a torn corner making it in fair condition.
