Description
Santee Street looking south from about 7th Street, Los Angeles, 1920s. There is a large crowd in the streets and what appear to be a film camera, a truck, perhaps a firetruck, in the foreground with something mounted on the back and a policeman directing traffic at 8th Street. There is a man atop the Maxfield Building at 819 South Santee (a 1924 structure which still stands) and portions of other commercial structures are in view. The condition seems to be good.
