Description

Color: Black; Brown Sash and Door Catalogue No. 23, issued by the Kerckhoff-Cuzner Mill and Lumber Company, February 1, 1923. The 262-page booklet has a brown paper cover with the title across the top and, "Courtesy of... / 'Friendly Dealers' Service" on the bottom. Along the left side are several vertical lines and on the back is the logo and name of the Kerckhoff-Cuzner Mill and Lumber Company. At the beginning is a note on the glass trade; directions for ordering; notes on sashes, doors, and blinds; and an index. Among the many types of doors available for sale are front doors; interior doors; sash doors; french doors; mirror doors; toilet doors; garage doors; and china closet doors. Also listed are over 400 types of windows. Other items avaiable for sale are outside blinds; window shutters; ironing boards; and leaded glass. At the back is a glossary of trade terms and a weight table for common doors and windows. Many black and white photographs and drawings, as well as some color images, are also included. With many creases on the cover; surface soiling; and light tears along the edges, the artifact is in fair condition.
