A saucer from a tea service made by Noritake, ca. 1920s. The piece has a depression, where the tea cup fits within. A pattern design consists of shields and leaves and is painted over a white background. Over this are cartouches with flowers of blue, pink and deep rose surrounded by floral vines connected by a tan swag on a cream-colored band. On the deep tan rim are burgundy lines interspersed with heads of flowers. The hallmark on the bottom of the piece reads: "Noritake / Nippon Tong Kaisha." With no indications of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
