A photograph of Sawtelle Chapel, Santa Monica. California. ca. 1900s. The photo shows a man standing in front of a chapel on the grounds of the Pacific Branch of the National Home for Disabled Veteran Soldiers. On the left is a row of shrubs and a pole with the number 17. The back is labeled "Wilshire Blvd. / Sawtelle Chapel / Santa Monica. The chapel is single storied with a cross on a spire, on a roof pitch, and another cross in front. The reverse shows adhesive and photo album paper residue on all four corners. There is mirroring on the left side, and light discoloration, so the object is in good condition overall.
