Description

Color: Black; Gold; White A Shaeffer's pencil, ca. 1928. The artifact has a gold-colored tip, cap, and pocket clasp, while the barrel is a marbleized design with black and white. There is no lead in the item, but when the cap is removed, the eraser, although discolored black, is still intact. On the cap is the etched phrase "GOLD FILLED." With gouge marks and a 1" long crack on the barrel and scratches and tarnish on the metal sections, the overall condition of the object is fair.
