Description

Color: Black; Red; Orange; Yellow "Second Spanish Book," by J. H. Worman and Carlos Bransby (New York: American Book Company,) 1888. The 92-page book is a primer for students of Spanish and has the title at the center of the front with the series "WORMAN'S MODERN LANGUAGES" at the top and the publisher's name and locations at the bottom. After an introduction by Worman in English, the lessons, which contain illustrations to assist in learning words and phrases, follow in Spanish. At the lower center of the title page is a stamp for the Electic Books shop in Los Angeles, though it is not known when this stamp was applied. With rubbing to the edges and corners of the cover, dents on the cover, soiling, discoloration, slight foxing, scratches on the cover, and some stains on pages and the inside front cover, the overall condition is good.
