"Sequoia & General Grant National Parks," a brochure issued by the National Parks Service, ca. 1930. The covers have a silhouetted image of a sequoia tree in a forest with a snow-covered mountain as a backdrop, as well as a car and people at the base of the tree. In white lettering is the title at the top and the phrase "Largest Trees in the World" at the bottom. Panels inside concern information on the Giant Forest Lodge, backcountry trips, saddle horse trips, the Grant Park Lodge and rates for the lodges, housekeeping camps, and detailed information on the park. There are also many photographs of the park with captions. With brittleness along folds, light soiling on the covers, some paper yellowing, pencil marks inside, and evidence of silverfish damage on the front near the top left and bottom right, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
