Description
A portrait of seven players and two coaches with the Los Angeles High School basketball team, 1911. Five players sit or kneel in the front row, with the player at the center holding a ball marked "LAHS," while two players and the coaches, the latter wearing suits and ties, stand in the back. On the reverse is a pasted-down label with the note that the squad were city champions and giving the names of the players (excepting two unidentified.) The typed label indicates the photo is vintage, but it is unknown whether it is from 1911 or not. There is some glue residue on the reverse, soiling and edge rubbing; otherwise, the item is in good condition.
