Description
Seven women Mission Play dancers at Balboa Park, San Diego, ca. 1920s. Five of the group, dressed in their costumes, stand in a Neoclassical covered walkway or similar feature, while two others stand on a bench at the park and were in San Diego for a show-related tour. In the middle row are principal dancer Juanita Vigare Zorraquinos and her sister Dominga. With adhesive residue and browning on the reverse and slight warping and soiling on the front, the overall condition is good.
