Description
A photograph of "Spring Street in the Financial District / Los Angeles California," ca. 1920s. The image, looking south, shows the street packed with cars and streetcard while pedestrians are on the walks. Commercial buildings on the west side of the street vary in height, with a few height-limit (11 stories) structures, including the California Bank Building (1922) at 635 S. Spring. The caption is in white lettering at the bottom of the image. With minor staining and a few very small stains, as well as light edge abrasions, the condition is good overall.
