Description
Several persons at or near a house, Claremont, California, ca. 1920s. The view is taken from across the street and shows a woman in the street with her back to the camoera, three women at or near the porch of the residence and two men on the side near a car. The home is a two-story, four-gabled, wood-sided one with a porch at the left half and minimal ornamentation. It is set amidst open land and a pencil inscription reads, "Nells home on Claremont" while an ink one below reads "Nells home at / ----- Claremont / when ---- ---- / came to Calif to ---- [live?]." With a small missing piece of a corner, moderate soiling and light rubbing, the condition is good overall.
