MAGAZINES, "SHAPES OF CLAY," published by Gladding, McBean & Company, August 1928. The issue, which marks a change in the publication from a monthly to a quarterly, has an essay about the company's working relationships with architects followed by fifteen photographic plates of commercial, church and synagogue, college, and residential buildings in the Los Angeles area, northern California and Tokyo, Japan using company products . While the covers have creases, edge grime and wear, as well as dogeared corners, the contents are clean and the overall condition is good.
