Description

A shaving mug, ca. 1900-1930. The mug has a handle with a gold band around it, gold bands at the lip, the base of the cup, and at the bottom of the mug. There is a landscape scene painted on the sides, showing two red-roofed white buildings, trees, bushes and grasses in green and hills or mountains in brown and gray. The sky is a light green and yellow over the white ceramic. There are no maker's marks and the mug is in good condition with some scuffing on the base but little other indication of wear and damage.
