Description

SHELVES OF UNGLAZED TILE AT NATIVE TILE STUDIOS Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of a shelving unit with unglazed tile at Diana Watson's Native Tile studio, July 18, 2001. The unit has six shelves and all are full with square tiles marked with such names as "Eucalyptus," "Star Fish," "Tree Plaque," and more. Seven large ceramic plaques lean against the bottom right of the unit. Some of these are decorated with designs like trees and leaves. At the left of the foreground is a trash can within which is a box marked "Gift Tiles." Also at the left is a cart full of small tile pieces called "dots" and longer pieces called "border" tiles. The photograph, which was taken on the same visit that the tile for this accession was purchased, is in mint condition. Number-Units: 1
