Description

Color: Blue, silver A shoe horn, part of a 12-piece blue enamel dresser set, ca. 1920s. There is a 3 3/4" long handle with sterling silver rim and a blue enamel top and underside, which have a radial-line design emanating from a center point and forming horizontal lines toward the end of the handle. The horn is of metal and has the common characteristics of curved edges and body with a rounded end. A maker's mark with an engraved "F & B" and "STERLING" are on the outside surface of the handle toward the inner end. In good condition, the artifact has tarnishing on the horn; a dent on the tip of the horn; and fading of the silver on the handle.
