Description
A real photo postcard of the shop of jeweler and optician John T. Harris, Los Angeles, California, 13 October 1911. Information from the store windows indicate he was the successor to Schepps & Harris. Services included eye exams, filled prescriptions, and the sale of diamonds, antiques, gold and silver. At the bottom is "Our New Location EIGHTH and BROADWAY." An ad on the back states that customers will receive a free hat pin or cufflinks upon presentation of the card and the purchase of over $1.00 of merchandise. With a crease on the bottom right corner, abrasions on edges, and stains with other discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
