"Showers and Announcements," issued by Dennison Manufacruring Co., 1928. The 19-page softcover item has a cover with a bouquet of flowers at the top, the title of the document below, and an image of a young woman under an umbrella as flowers from above rain down upon her. At the bottom is the manufacturer's name, the price of ten cents, and a subtitle. At the far left is a wave-like design in black and shades of gray. The contents include seasonal bridal showers for Valentine's Day, April, and June; bridal shower ideas using stars, vanity (as in personal care products), and seafaring as themes; and three ideas for engagement announcement parties. On the back cover is an advertisement for other entertaining planning booklets offered by Dennison's. With minor creases, some dents to the corners, minor discoloration, a few stains, and very small tears at the top front of the covers, the item is in good overall condition.Lexicon
