Description
A snapshot of bathers at Bimini Baths, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The four young boys and an adult pose in swim trunks outside of the baths building, previously located a block east of Vermont Avenue at First Street. The boys are standing in a row with towels wrapped around their waists. The reverse includes a pencil inscription: The Winning Team. The boys were most likely part of a swimming competition. The photograph is generally in good condition despite the minor warping, and general discoloration.
