The 80-page catalog has a brown paper cover with a blue and black drawing of an arch and columns at the center. At the top center of the arch is the date, and below this is a drawing of a male figure kneeling by an anvil while holding a hammer in the right hand. At the bottom of the arch is the name of the company and below this is the title. Across the bottom is a rectangle with a humorous note on the publishing of the catalog and paying subscriptions with poultry and butter. On the back is a humorous poem entitled, "The Dope For Today." At the beginning of the inside is an index of contents and a title page which includes an editorial on World War I. Also at the front is an article on paying cash or credit, and a humorous piece entitled, "Shop Talk" which has the "Janitor" as the author. Items available for sale include a variety of steel ceilings; continuous sheets; cornices; lintels; mouldings; ventilators; cupolas; finials and vanes; metal shelters; tanks; cisterns; troughs; corner casings; caps and sills; pilasters; shingles; and skylights. At the back is a list of miscellaneous discount prices, more humorous anecdotes, and a want column. Also included are many black and white illustrations as well as some photographs. With only light creases and small tear on the back, the artifact is in good condition.
