2007.389.1.1Description
"South Pasadena, Ostrich Farm, Cal," Best and Company, Los Angeles, 15 October 1896. The view shows a man feeding the animals and also takes in large portions of the wood-fenced pens and hills and trees in the background. On the reverse is much text about the farm, including history and uses of feathers. With heavy fading of the image, curvature of the mount, soiling, and edge wear, the overall condition is poor.
