2007.389.1.2Description
"South Pasadena, Ostrich Farm, Cal. Chicks," Best and Company, Los Angeles, 15 October 1896. The view shows a closeup of several chicks and a few eggs displayed on a plywood table. On the reverse is much text about the farm, including history and uses of feathers. With curvature of the mount, soiling, and edge wear, and heavy light damage to the image, the overall condition is poor.
