Description
SOUTH WINDOW DETAIL OF ST. RITA, WALTER JR.'S BEDROOM
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of a detail of the south window showing St. Rita in Walter Jr.'s bedroom in La Casa Nueva, ca. 1978. The image is at the center, showing her in a dark-colored hood and cloak or dress with white head and shoulder garment underneath. In her hands she holds a figurine of Christ on the cross, at which she gazes and which has an illuminating aura around it. The image is bordered by a dark leading in a round shape, atop which is an image of an angel's head, with aura, and wings. At the sides are scrolls running toward the bottom. Around the image the window leading is at diagonals, forming geometric patterns. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
