Description
SOUTH WINDOW DETAIL OF ST. TERESA, WALTER JR.'S BEDROOM
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of a detail of the south window showing St. Teresa in Walter Jr.'s bedroom in La Casa Nueva, ca. 1978. The image is at the center, showing her in a dark-colored hood, and lighter-colored cloak or shawl with a white collar. In her hands she holds a figurine of Christ on the cross, which is surrounded with roses. A halo is around the saint and shafts of the sun's rays touch her from the upper right. She is within a circular leaded frame which has, at the top, a figure of an angel with head, curly hair, and wings. Decorative scrolls are on the side of the border. Leading in the window around the image are in diagonal lines, creating geometrical patterns. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
