Description

A photograph of the construction of a Southern California Edison electric transfer station, unknown location, 20 April 1923. The view shows the main building with concrete walls, scaffolding, a large crane, and the beginnings of the roof. A wing appears to be newly started at the right side of the building. There are also some construction workers in several places and temporary wooden buildings, a railroad track, and other elements. There are also some buildings and fields surrounding the site. With very light soiling and edge wear, but little else of note, the condition is good.
