"Southern California Tourist," November 1927, published by The Southern California Tourist Information Bureaus. On the front cover is the publication title and the subtitle "TRAVEL GUIDE" just below. An image of a beachfront community from a hillside view is the background, but there is a banner with a photograph of the Alexandria Hotel in Los Angeles at the lower center. Contents include information on a variety of southern California destinations and communities, including Death Valley; Pomona; Beverly Hills; Laguna Beach; Chino; the California Missions; Ontario; regional golf clubs; Hollywood; San Diego; Santa Barbara; several local counties; southern California generally; and Los Angeles. There are several maps, many photographs, lots of advertisements, and tables of California cities with populations and those with chambers of commerce. With cover and spine rubbing; a crease at the bottom right corner; soiling on the cover; yellowing pages; and some tarnish from staples that were removed in the registration process, the overall condition is good.
