Color: Black; White
A real photo postcard of The Southwest Museum, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The image shows the hilltop institution as framed between two trees and some nearby shrubs, with two towers and the main building in view. At the bottom center is the caption "THE SOUTHWEST MUSEUM / LOS ANGELES" in Craftsman-style lettering, which leads to the date estimation. On the reverse is the word "POSTCARD" at the top, a vertical dividing line with the words "MESSAGE" on the left and "ADDRESS" on the right and a box for a stamp at the upper right corner. The unused card has some creases, light soiling, yellowing, rather heavy foxing, and scratches, and is in good overall condition.Lexicon
