Description

A pamphlet for the Southwest Museum, Los Angeles, June 1919. The item is a descriptive brochure about the museum, which opened six years previously, and contains information on exhibits and exhibit areas, a new entrance, the library, membership, and others. There is also a memorial to Hector Alliot, first museum director, and a list of officers, trusteees, and staff, as well as lists of categories of membership and visitor information. There are many illustrations, some in color pasted down to pages. With heavy creasing, edge teears, and soiling to the covers, but generally clean pages, the condition is fair.
