"Souvenir Folder of California Missions", a pictorial folder published by Wetern Publishing & Novelty Company, Los Angeles, and manufactured by (acronym given only) C. T. & Co., Chicago, ca. 1910s. The cover has a color image of a partial mission arch and through the arch is seen a mission with a Mexican-looking person, a Franciscan friar, and various other symbols (a cart, Mission bell marker) of the mission era displayed. On the back is a hand-colored photographic image of a mission courtyard with a rose bush, vines, and a pepper tree. Inside the cover are brief descriptions of the California missions with lines under the flap for putting the sender's name and address. Colored images of each mission are within the cover in two-sided arrangement. While the cover has a few abrasions, scratches and creases; minor discoloration; and light surface soiling; the images inside are without wear or damage, so the artifact is in good condition.
