Description

Color: Blue; Orange "Spanish Homes of California" (Long Beach: Roy Hilton Co., 1927), 48 pp. The paperbound pamphlet has, on the front cover, the title at the top in orange lettering. Beneath this is a drawing on a dark blue background of a two-story Spanish Colonial Revival style home with landscaping, including a large tree in which the title is located. Near the bottom is a box in a dark blue background with the company name and location, along with the price of the pamphlet. At the bottom in orange letters is "FOURTH EDITION, 1927." The work is a catalog of 28 floor plans sold by the company, prefaced by a discussion of Spanish Colonial Revival homes in California. There are many black and white photographs of homes, both with Hilton plans and without, as well as the many Hilton floor plan drawings. A price is located at the back of the pamphlet. With discoloration and stains on the cover, but little evidence of wear or damage, the publication is in good condition.
