Description
Spectators in a grandstand at an Ascot Speedway race, Los Angeles, 10 April 1921. The photographer stood amongst boxes and captures some spectators, some turned towards the camera, below. In the background are throngs of persons, as well as what appears to be pit crews, in the infield area. In the distance are stands of trees and mountains to the north. With some yellowing and slight paper curvature, the condition is good overall.
