A photograph of the "Spirit of Los Angeles" airplane, 14 April 1928. The image is a closeup of the craft, built by Mutual Aircraft Corp., which sits on thick wooden planks at an unidentified location. A few men stand off to the left side and there are others on the right side and, it appears, at the open cockput door of the biplane. A truck is also off to the right. There are some pencil inscriptions and a date stamp on the reverse. With a loss at the upper left, a small one at the left, creases, and soiling, the condition is fair.
