The item includes many articles in the areas noted in the subtitle, including correspondence from California that makes mention of sports, including horse racing, boxing, as well as theatrical items. There is also a box score for a gun marksmanship contest from San Francisco. With much acid soiling, stains, holes from disbinding (meaning that pages are almost loose) and edge wear, the condition is poor.
