"Spring & 1st St., Los Angeles, Cal.," ca. 1900s. The image is taken from a straight line on Spring Street at First and looks north. Commercial buildings line the street, including Hamburger's department store on the left. A streetcar, horse-drawn vehicles and some pedestrians are on Spring. In the distance is the end of the street where it met Main and Temple streets at the Temple Block and the large Arcadia Block is notable past that point. The title comes from a pencil inscription on the reverse. With some soiling and small stains, the overall condition is good.
