"Spring St., Los Angeles," Adolf Freese, ca. 1900s. The view is from a portion where the street curves north of Second Street and looks southward towards the Phillips Block at the left. Pedestrians, horse-drawn vehicles, commercial buildings from two to about six stories, Los Angeles Railway streetcars and tracks, a large street light hanging over the street and power lines are notable. The title is written in ink on the reverse. With much soiling, stains overall, abrasion damge, and moderate fading and discoloraiton, the condition is fair.Lexicon
