Description
"Spring Street" from City Hall, Los Angeles, ca. 1927. The view is from the unfinished City Hall looking towards the southwest and the intersection with 1st Street. The demolition of a structure on Spring is at the bottom right, while the four-story Nadeau Block is at the southwest corner of the intersection and would soon give way to the Los Angeles Times Building. In the distance are other commercial buildings, such as the Bryson Block on Main near 2nd. Inscriptions are on the bottom margin and reverse, where there is album paper residue. With some creasing and light soiling, the condition is good.
