Description

ST CUTHBERT'S CHURCH, CLIFTON, ENGLAND, EAST ELEVATION Photograph: A color photograph of St. Cuthbert's Church, Clifton, England, 1995. The western facade of the structure is at center, with the building consisting of three sections, each with stone walls and slate-shingled gabled roofs. The larger section in the middle has a small bell tower at the peak of the roof and a Gothic-style window in the center of the wall. On the three visible sides are tombstones in the churchyard. In the foreground is a low stone wall with a sidewalk and portion of a paved street. There are power lines seen at the top and some trees in the background. At the rear of the church, not visible in this image, is the tombstone commissioned by William Workman for his family (see 97.26.3.) The photograph is by HM volunteer Bill Stone and taken in late May or early June 1995. The photograph is in mint condition. None Number-Units: 1
