Description
STAGED PHOTOGRAPHIC POSTCARD OF A COUPLE IN AN AIRPLANE FLYING OVER A LOS ANGELES-AREA BEACH, published by Electric Studio, Los Angeles, and postmarked 1 April 1912. The image of the man and woman were placed inside the flying machine, which was then superimposed over a beach scene. There is a message, address, stamp, cancellation stamp, and postmark on the rear. With a crease at the upper left, many stains, and discoloration, the condition is poor.
