Description

STERLING SILVER MADAM MORRIS CARVING SET KNIFE Color: Silver A sterling silver Madam Morris carving set knife, ca. 1920s. The item has a fleur-de-lis type design at the handle end and another floral design at the opposite end with these joined by dual border lines on the handle. There is an octagonal plate between the handle and the fork. The blade also has a sharp tip, common to these pieces. On one face of the handle are the initials "HNH" and on one side is a maker's mark and the word "STERLING." With some surface grime, tarnish, fading of the marker's mark, and pitting, the overall condition, after deep cleaning by collections staff, is good.
