STREET ASSESSMENT NOTICE, LOS ANGELES, 4 November 1914, issued by the Bureau of Street Assessments, Board of Public Works for the lowering of the grade of the Broadway tunnel. The preprinted form has space for an assessment number, date, amount, room of the bureau where payments could be made, and delinquent date. Handwritten at the bottom is a description of the East Los Angeles property affected. The reverse has the address, preprinted stamp for the card, cancellation stamp, and postmark. Aside from light discoloration, the condition is good.Lexicon
