Street-level view of Main Street, Los Angeles, 1895. The view is taken from the wooden sidewalk on one side of the street. Some commercial buildings, portions of the unpaved street, a horse-drawn conveyance, and a bystander are captured in the image, which appears to be an early example of a product of a Kodak No. 2 camera. The photo is pasted onto a matte With some significant soiling, mainly to the matte, which has also has edge rubbing and stains, the overall condition is fair.
