Description

STRING OF EIGHT LIGHTS FOR SANTA CLAUS XMAS TREE LIGHTING OUTFIT Color: Green; Red; Blue; Yellow A string of eight lights from a Santa Claus Christmas tree lighting outfit, 1928. The string is secured in a tray (item .2) that secures the bulbs, which are two each of blue, green, red, and yellow colors. The fabric cord is a light green color. At one end is the plug for the wall outlet and at the other is the extension plug to attach other strings, up to six per outlet. These housings are bakelite with metal prongs on the plug and metal screws to hold down the wire. Aside from light soiling on the cord and some scratches on the painted bulbs, the string is in good condition.
