Description

STRIPPING OF CONCRETE VENEER, NORTH ENCLOSURE WALL AT LA CASA NUEVA Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of the stripping of the concrete veneer on the north enclosure wall of La Casa Nueva, ca. March 1977. The photographer stood on the inside grass, looking north. A section of the inner part of the wall, between two columns was removed, revealing the adobe brick underneath. The brick looked somewhat worn with the surface of the bricks not uniform, but some seeming to be more worn than others, unless they were stacked differently. The concrete debris from the stripping process lies in a pile at lower right. Aside from some portions of trees in the background, there are no other notable features to the image, which is in good condition with little indication of wear or damage. Number-Units: 1
