The image shows about forty pupils and four adults standing, sitting or kneeling in rows under and next to what looks like large eucalyptus trees near the schoolhouse of what later was Temple School in the Misión Vieja/Old Mission community. On the reverse are pencil and ink inscriptions including "Year 1909 / Mothre in grammar school / La Puente School." With some stains and soiling, the condition is good.
