Description
A cabinet card, studio portrait of an infant. Photograph by H. F. Rile, Pacific Photograph Gallery, Santa Monica, ca. 1890. The boy is seated on a large armchair draped over with a cloth. He is wearing a white gown with long sleeves. The backdrop is a wilderness scene with a lake, flowering plants and trees. There is a crease in the upper right corner, and moderate darkening to the image but the item is in overall good condition.
