Description
A cabinet card, studio portrait of Francis Pliny Fisk Temple II, (1887-1963). Photograph by F. G. Schumacher, Spring Street, Los Angeles, ca.1888. Temple is the son of John Harrison Temple (1856-1926). The infant is shown wearing his christening gown with a scalloped, lace edge. He is seated on a fur cushion supported by an arm disguised in cloth. The item is in good condition with minor surface scratches, previous signs of foxing, and minor loss to the photograph at bottom center.
