"Sunset," September 1914, published by Woodhead, Field and Company, San Francisco. This is the first issue under new ownership after sixteen years publication by the Southern Pacific Company. Although much of the format is the same, with respect to the inclusion of poetry, fiction and essays on Western American topics, the editors profess less interest in promoting tourism as was done under Southern Pacific. There are many photos and drawings, as well as advertisements. With heavily worn wrappers, but clean pages, the condition is fair.Lexicon
