"Sunset," published by the Southern Pacific Company, San Francisco, November 1905. The magazine has material on water reclamation in the West, Mount Diablo, the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles and poems, essays, drawings, serialized fiction and regular features, such as "The Course of Empire;" "Little Stories of the West;" "Plays and the Players;" "Books and Writers;" and a poetry section called "Sunset Rays." The wrappers, with a cover image painting of Monterey Bay, are torn, stained, soiled and rubbed, with the back nearly detached while contents are generally clean, so the overall condition is fair.Lexicon
