A bound volume of "Sunset" consisting of Volume 24, January-June 1910, published by the Passenger Department of the Southern Pacific Company, San Francisco. The publication contains articles about the history and current affairs of California and the West; fiction; poetry; and other articles of general interest. There is also an article about Los Angeles' growth by "Los Angeles Times" publisher Harrison Gray Otis, followed by thirty pages of photographs of the city and a review of the first international aviation meet, held at Los Angeles in January 1910, followed by two related aviation articles. The boards are worn, the spine repaired with tape, and there is soiling, but the pages are generally good, so the condition is fair.Lexicon
